Warsaw vs Chelsea: Conference League, Kick-off time

Chelsea will host Legia Warsaw at 7:45 PM on Thursday at the Polish Army Stadium in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Chelsea enters the match as favorites to win and continue their quest for the title from day one of the tournament. After topping the group stage with a perfect record, they continued their perfect run by defeating Copenhagen in the round of 16 with a 2-0 aggregate victory. Legia advanced 4-3 on aggregate against Molde of Norway.
The path to the final appears paved for Enzo Maresca’s team, as they avoided facing major clubs from Europe’s top five leagues in this round. The winner of this match will face the winner of Djurgardens vs. Rapid Vienna, which will boost Chelsea’s chances of reaching the anticipated final in Wrocław.
If they win the tournament, Chelsea will become the first club to win all three UEFA competitions, in addition to previously holding the European Cup Winners’ Cup.
Despite these numbers, Maresca’s recent performances have been unconvincing. Their last five matches have included three 1-0 wins, a loss, and a goalless draw against Brentford in the league, with the team looking sluggish in attack.
Chelsea remain without an away league win in 2025, and their only away victory in their last ten matches came against Copenhagen, presenting a significant challenge for their trip to Poland.
For their part, Legia Warsaw will be no easy opponent, especially since they have lost only once at home since mid-September, against Lugano in the group stage. Their four consecutive wins in that run have secured them automatic qualification to the quarter-finals, despite stumbling in their last two matches.
